The flying site is maintained exclusively for Flying Griffins members and their invited guest. Flying Griffins is an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) chartered club and AMA membership is required in order to fly at the flying site. Guest of Flying Griffins club members, flying on a buddy box, must be under the control of the inviting club member. Visiting AMA Members may be invited to fly as a guest of a Flying Griffins club member. The club member must be present at all time while the visitor is flying. This invitation will be in effect for a period of 3 flying sessions. At the end of this period membership is required in order to use the flying site. Introduction flights and training are available. A list of current instructors are located on this website under the training link.
Flying hours: Monday through Saturday: 9:00am until dark
                     Sunday: 11:00am until dark
                     The only exception to this is during air shows

1. Do not drive in the pit area or on the runway.
2. AMA membership is required.
3. Frequency pins must be used at all times. Including 2.4.
4. Turn aircraft to direct air blast toward the runway.
5. Aircraft shall be carried to and from the pit area.
6. Absolutely no flying over the pit area.
7. use of field for club members and their guest only. (See statement below)
8. Effective muffler to be used on all engines above .051.
9. No profanity is allowed.
10. No alcohol (24 hour bottle to throttle rule).
11. No driving on the hay field for any reason.
